About Our Staff and Board

Bryce Johnson is the Founder and President of UNPACKIN’ it Ministries, Inc., and host of the UNPACKIN’ it® radio show. Bryce’s radio experience began at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina where he created a nationally-recognized show called SPORTS YAPP®.

With a passion to bring faith and sports together, Bryce landed at the national Christian magazine, Sports Spectrum. Ultimately he was led to launch the nationally-syndicated faith and sports talk show, UNPACKIN’ it, in August 2012, and officially start UNPACKIN’ it Ministries in 2014.

Bryce also writes a weekday email devotional for sports fans called UNPACK this, produces podcasts with intriguing guests from the sports world, and is a speaker and emcee.

Bryce lives with his wife, Jodi, in his hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina. Growing up with two brothers, Bryce is a huge sports fan and admits to being competitive in everything from swimming to board games. A love for Jesus propels Bryce to live by His example and encourage sports fans everywhere to follow Him.
